I stole this idea from Barb Knowles who got it from Paul who got the idea from Aaron who stole it from Jess. (Whew! It all reminds me of the Tom Lehrer song “I got it from Agnes”–quite possibly the dirtiest song ever written without using a single off-color word. But I digress.)

- Getting comments on my blog posts.
I just read this and was amazed, laughed out loud and want to write a long comment. But I’m 1/2 asleep so will give this the attention it deserves in the morning. I want to redo my list now, lol.
I look forward to it! But your list is quite good already.
I thought 100 was too many. Then I remembered more things and got ideas from your list and the other lists. And my daughter said “I can’t believe you didn’t put coffee first!” And I realized I could go on and on and on. But what I really want is to comment on yours. You have SO MUCH here. I’ll do justice to your post tomorrow 😃
Quite honestly, when I reached the 70s, I was starting to think it was too many as well. Especially since I deliberately decided to interpret it literally as “things” and exclude people and animals from the list.
I included dogs.
Yeah; I know. I’m just too much of a literalist. 🙂
I love this. #21, the sunset… it’s exactly what I have as my screensaver. It reminds me of my childhood home.
Yep… that’s what it reminds me of, too.
Actually, probably the reason I like so many of the things I like is not the things themselves, but strong memories with which they are associated… nostalgia is a powerful thing.
Okay, now I’m wide awake. I’ve decided to divide your numbers into categories. First, the ones I agree with (I might accidentally leave out a few since you have 100 and not 25, lol). #1,2,5,6,9,11,13,17, and especially 22. This list is too long. Paring down now to add #52, 58, 61,83, 96 and 101. I guess my other category is “the other category.”
I loved this. Thanks.
Good list. Broke my right hand, will have to wait to make my list.
Sorry to hear that–wishing you a quick recovery!
