To be fair, later on the article does say he regrets not stepping down after Abu Ghraib and not sending more troops in the first place, although he doesn’t seem to take responsibility for the latter.
I started looking at your list of Categories and clicked in Iraq to see what you had do say. Saw this post and thought to myself that Donald Rumsfeld is one of those people who is incapable of admitting fault or that something he was responsible for could have gone better. So, there’s my thought. And I’m not going to keep going through your old posts. I have this feeling, I’d have a lot more to say. š

The blog used to be way more political, and I used to be way more libertarian in outlook. The first few years of this blog were basically me trying (very badly) to imitate Andrew Sullivan, who was one of my all-time favorite bloggers.

Much like Sullivan. Hard to do that when you have a full-time job. This past year has made it difficult to write about politics.

Yes; it was tough to blog about current events every day, even back in the days of “normal” American politics.
This past year–or really ever since Trump declared his candidacy–make it almost impossible. It’s a never-ending slew of mostly bad news.
Pretty certain people would start tuning out on my blog, if every post began with AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
