I see the conservative blogger Robert Stacy McCain has linked to the Michael Lind article on the southern roots of the Tea Party I linked to the other day, as well as this article by Amanda Marcotte, which links the Tea Party’s behavior with the attitudes of the “sex panic”. He denounces both articles as “crazy”.

This strikes me as somewhat humorous because R.S. McCain:

Given all this, he appears to be living proof of what we might informally call the “Lind-Marcotte synthesis” he derides.
