When I first really started blogging about six years ago, a community developed around blogging and writing and self-publishing developed and it was thriving. Until it wasn’t. So many people I “got to know” back then seemed to have just disappeared from WordPress and that community.
It has got a lot quieter in my corner of the blogging world. I have always viewed blogging not as a solo effort of throwing my words out there, but as an opportunity for a conversation with anybody who wants to join in. Through people like you and a few others, including a few that I have now met via Twitter, there remains hope for that type of dialogue. So, keep doing what you do. Let’s keep the conversation going.
Always love your personable holiday videos, Berthold. Thanks for sharing some other wonderful people and sites, and thank you for being my friend. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
What a great idea, Berthold! A personal expression is always welcome. And thanks for the links to other bloggers. I started blogging as part of the self-publishing effort, but I’ve found it’s about making connections with other writers and sharing ideas. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks, Audrey! By the way, I’m about three-quarters of the way through “She Who Comes Forth” and I’m enjoying it quite a lot. I’ll post a review once I’ve finished.
How nice! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
🙂
Berthold,
Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

Amen to that! You keep doing what you do, too.

You’re welcome! And it’s good to hear you’re enjoying SWCF. I’m looking forward to your review.
May you have many things in your life to be thankful for.
Thanks, Pat! You too.
